#BBNaija: “I didn’t know who my biological mother was until I was 7 years old” – Angel (video)

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Angel has disclosed that she didn’t know who her biological mum was until she was 7 years old.

The “shine ya eye ”housemate revealed that her parents had her at a young age and were still trying to figure out their lives, so she had to stay with her grandmother.

According to Angel, she thought her grandmother was her mother until she was 7 years old.

Angel who made this revelation in a conversation with Cross noted that even till now she still calls her grandmother mum , except if her grandmother and her mother are together in the same place.

“My mum had me early, she was still figuring her life out, my dad had me early he was still figuring his life out. The best option for us at the time was for me to live with my granny… I grew up thinking I wasn’t enough for my parents, If I wanted to see my mum she’ll be like she has something doing, If I wanted to see my dad he’ll be like he’s busy.

“Funny things is I didn’t know my mum was my mum until a certain age, I thought my granny was my mum. That’s why till now I call my granny mummy… I didn’t know my mum was my mum I thought she was my sister until a certain age”. She said.

When Cross asked her what age she realized who her biological mum was, she replied, “When I was 7”.
